Both the Pre-Order and Drop windows run 10–14 days. Fans place Pre-Orders. If the Demand Threshold isn't reached, payments aren't taken and nothing is printed. If the target is hit, Pre-Order copies ship as soon as book production is complete, so your earliest fans get the book before those ordering during the Drop.

What's yours stays yours

You keep ownership of your name, your likeness, your characters, and your content. We receive only the rights needed to develop, publish, and sell this one agreed book during the partnership term – and we can't make sequels, spin-offs, or anything else from your characters or content without a new agreement with you. One book. One clearly defined partnership. No hidden claim over everything you create.

What we create for the book – the writing, the artwork, the design – stays with the studio, the way a photographer keeps the negatives. You can show it off anywhere, forever: pages, images, press, your portfolio. Selling copies stays on our side of the line, and only for as long as the partnership runs.

A plain-English summary – the agreement you sign is the version that governs, and we'll walk you (or your manager) through every line of it before you do.

FAQ
What's the catch? Why do you do all the production and order management work for free?

We only earn when your book sells – we're on the same side of the table as you. And the Pre-Order campaign makes production conditional: fans commit first, and nobody is charged unless it reaches its goal – so neither of us gambles on success.

What happens after the Drop window closes?

After the Drop closes, the book comes off sale. We begin collecting a waitlist of everyone who missed it, and if demand builds back up we can plan a future drop with you. Making the launch the one window to buy is what gives your fans a real reason to act then, rather than “I’ll get it someday.” If you’d rather keep it on sale after the Drop, an evergreen option is available too – we’ll talk through what fits your audience.

What rights do I give you?

Only what's needed to develop, publish, and sell this one agreed book during the partnership term. You keep your name, your likeness, your characters, your content, and anything else you make. We can't make sequels, spin-offs, or anything else from them without a new agreement with you. One book, one clearly defined partnership – no claim over anything else you create.

Who owns the book?

You keep everything you bring – your name, your characters, your content. What we create for the book – the writing, the artwork, the design – stays ours, the way a photographer keeps the negatives. If you ever walk away, everything of yours comes back free and clear, and you're free to make a new book about the same characters with anyone. Our work stays with us, and you keep the right to show it off anywhere, forever – yours to show, ours to sell.

Will my audience want the book?

That's exactly what the Pre-Order campaign finds out – a 2-week window where nobody's charged a cent unless it reaches its goal. If not enough fans hear about it, or it doesn't quite gel with them enough, neither of us will be out of pocket.

I have a manager.

Great – send them this page. We're happy to walk through everything with them directly.

What kind of content makes a book?

Almost any content with an audience that keeps coming back. We study what you post, what resonates, and why – then derive a concept from it. Perhaps you already have ideas in mind? See our concept cover showcase carousel – the options are immensely diverse and the right book will depend on the type of content you create and its tone.

How much creative input/work is required from me?

It varies by creator. Some creators just give feedback on proposed concepts – others provide reference photos and source material. If you want to write every page – that works too. In any case, you'll need to approve each production milestone. We handle the production and operational workload – but getting the word out is over to you.

What will the book cost my fans?

We work with you on pricing. Standard editions might land around $55 for US Letter sized hardcover. Less for paperback (softcover). Final prices depend on your preferences, brand, content, and page count. Even for paperback editions, it is hard to charge below $40 due to the high cost of premium printing.

What if my Pre-Order campaign doesn't reach its goal?

Then nobody is charged, nothing is printed, and the project ends there – that's the point of the goal. It protects your fans, you, and us from a book without real demand.

Can you make other merch for me?

We could – our team has produced over 50 product types of merchandise across multiple platforms – but we don’t. CreatorToMarket is a publishing studio, purpose-built to create exceptional coffee table books. By focusing on one unusually complex product, we’ve developed specialized, streamlined workflows that are difficult for others to replicate.
